Dorsch shines for Crusaders in all-Eureka matchup

Aidan Dorsch led the way on Saturday night, as the St. Bernard’s Crusaders defeated crosstown rivals Eureka 61-55 in boys basketball.

The senior forward scored a game-high 22 points in the win, as the SB boys improved to 15-6 on the season.

“He was playing basketball tonight,” St. Bernard’s head coach Issac Gildea said of Dorsch after the game. “He was outstanding in all aspects of the game. He really stepped up his game tonight.”

Seth Dyder added 13 points in the win, while Owen Shanahan chipped in 10 points, Peyton Smith eight and Drew Vizenor six.

Caden Vance and Hans Chalmers each scored 19 to lead the way offensively for the Loggers, who dropped to 7-15 on the season.

Vance had five 3-pointers.
