By Ray Hamill — It’s safe to say the atmosphere at H-DNL basketball games has been a lot better this week.

After two weeks of playing games behind closed doors, a limited number of spectators are now allowed again at games, and that has created a much better atmosphere for the players.

On Wednesday night, McKinleyville and Arcata faced off for the third straight night, this time in a boys game at Arcata High, after the schools’ girls teams played on each of the previous nights.

And the few fans in attendance at the games certainly made their voices heard.
