Ray Hamill/HumboldtSports.com – The Arcata Tigers are No. 1 in this week’s power rankings.
By Ray Hamill — The Arcata Tigers got their league campaign back on track this week with a big win at home over Del Norte.
And that is just enough to put some separation between them and the rest of the H-DNL in our power rankings once again, after they were tied for No. 1 with Del Norte and Mack last week.
No. 2 McKinleyville did not play this week, while No. 3 Del Norte split a pair of games, beating Fortuna at home before falling at Arcata.
One week after losing to Hoopa, No. 4 St. Bernard’s got back on track with a comfortable win at Ferndale on Thursday.
The Crusaders have another key game coming up next week against No. 5 South Fork.
Also at No. 5, Eureka did not play this past week.
COVID protocols continue to mess with the schedule and lineups.
