The No. 6 team in the nation proved too hot for Humboldt State on Thursday night, as the Jacks fell 81-62 at home to Cal State San Bernardino.
The game was the first since Jan. 2 for the Jacks, who dropped to 8-5 on the season and 2-5 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association.
In other college games on Thursday, the College of the Redwoods men dropped their Golden Conference opener at Butte, falling 91-84.
Donald Willis scored a team-high 19 points for the Corsairs, while his twin brother Bradley Willis scored 18.
John Nchekwube added 16 points and Brandon Johnson 10 as the CR men dropped to 0-1 in conference and 10-5 overfall.
The Corsairs will play at Siskiyous on Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m.
