
Humboldt State Athletics
The Humboldt State men’s basketball team returned to winning ways with a 85-68 victory over Simpson at Lumberjack Arena on Thursday night.
After dropping their past two games, both in conference play, the Jacks improved to 6-2 on the season.
Jaden Edwards was instrumental in the win, recording his fifth double-double of the season.
Edwards scored a season-high 41 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.
AJ Sims added 13 points off the bench.
The game was the final non-conference matchup of the season for HSU.
The Jacks will now hit the road for a three-game trip, beginning on Saturday at Stanislaus State
The team’s next home game will be on Jan. 2, against Sonoma State.
