The South Fork Cubs got big contributions from several players on their way to a 44-27 win over Hayfork in girls basketball on Monday night.
Natalie Roberts scored a team-high nine points in the win, which saw all eight South Fork players score.
The Cubs ran out to a 21-8 lead in the opening quarter and never looked back, stretching the gap to 21 by halftime and putting the game out of reach.
Raelynn Hawkins added seven points in the win, while teammates Kaylee Cotter and Cadence Young each scored six and Macy Yarbrough and Shawnessy Conway-O’Neill both scored five.
The Cubs are 2-1 and will play next at the Potter Valley tournament, which tips off on Thursday.
