Both College of the Redwoods basketball teams posted lopsided wins on the road on Friday.
The CR men defeated Gavilan 72-54, while the women opened the Mission College tournament with an 81-32 victory over Hartnell.
Ashley Quigley scored a game-high 23 points for the CR women, who were playing their season opener.
Quigley drained four of her team’s 10 3-pointers.
Three players enjoyed big debuts for the Corsairs, including Gracie Betts and Kathryce Danzuka, each of whom chipped in 14 points.
Rachel Valdez also enjoyed a big debut, scoring 13.
The CR women will continue play at the three-day tournament on Saturday.
The Willis brothers, Donald and Bradley, each continued their impressive start to the season for the Redwoods men, who improved to 2-0.
Bradley finished with 16 points in the win, while Donald followed his 25-point performance against Mendocino on Tuesday with 12 points on Friday.
The CR men ran out to a 30-point lead in the second half.
