The Redwood Acres Raceway will celebrate the 2021 season with its end of year banquet awards ceremony this Sunday.

The event will take place at the Elks Lodge in Eureka, starting at 4 p.m.

In addition to celebrating the champions in each of the five divisions, the banquet will also honor the rookies in each division, as well as the champion and drivers in the Upstate Bomber Series.

This year’s champions include David Henderson (late models), Brandon White (legends), Tyler Krupa (bombers), Eric O’Ferrall (mini stocks) and Bob Ratzlaff (roadrunners).

Krupa also is the rookie of the year in his division.

The other rookies of the year include Nick Ford (late models), Brett Murrell (legends), Colton Kinsey (mini stocks) and Tanisha Ratzlaff (roadrunners).

The Upstate Bomber Series raced twice at the Redwood Acres Raceway in 2021 in addition to races at the Lakeport Speedway and the Ukiah Speedway.

Trystan Mucci won both events at the Acres, including the championship clinching event during the Fall Spectacular.

Sunday’s banquet will be a cook your own steak event and tickets are $40 and can be purchased on RacinTheAcres.com.
