The McKinleyville girls cruised to a 6-0 win over St. Bernard’s in H-DNL soccer on Saturday night.

The ever-dangerous Soffia Reyes netted three times in the win, as the Panthers took control early and led by four at halftime.

Thea Trout added two goals, with Gabby Watson also scoring and Cora Allen assisting on the opening goal.

Head coach Adam Canepa was happy with his team’s performance and felt St. Bernard’s gave them a good challenge.

“I think we played a pretty solid team,” Canepa said. “St. Bernard’s played hard. They didn’t give up, so hats off to them.”

With the win, the Panthers improved to 9-4-2 overall.
