Wildcats top the Cubs in Little 4 volleyball

The Ferndale Wildcats posted a straight sets victory over South Fork in Little 4 volleyball on Thursday night, winning 25-8, 25-17, 25-10.

Several players stood out in the win, including the talented junior tandem of Kyla Albee and Tia Hendrickson, who have provided some much-needed team leadership this fall.

Albee finished with 13 kills in the win and was a force at the net, while Hendrickson had a team-best 22 assists.

Freshman Rainy Rodrigues also had a big night at the service line, getting all 19 serves in the opposition court.

The Wildcats will try to carry that momentum into Tuesday’s game against the St. Bernard’s Crusaders, who are 6-0 in conference play.
