By Ray Hamill — Tag Wotherspoon will be back on local radio this weekend and for the rest of the season after it was announced this week that MIX 95.1 FM will be broadcasting several games between now and the end of the season.

The local station will air seven regular season games featuring Fortuna, St. Bernard’s, Eureka and Del Norte, including a big doubleheader the day before Halloween.

In addition, all of the Del Norte games are being broadcast live on KPOD 97.9 FM, with John Pritchett calling the action along with John “Mad Dog” Horner.

Starting this weekend, MIX 95.1 FM will broadcast a pair of games — Fortuna at Del Norte on Friday night, and St. Bernard’s at Eureka on Saturday night.

Both games kick off at 7:30 pm., with the pre-game show starting at 7:15 p.m.

Eureka at St. Bernard’s, Oct. 30

Del Norte at Fortuna, Oct. 30

Fortuna at St. Bernard’s, Nov. 6.

Wotherspoon is also expected to broadcast some North Coast Section playoff games later in November.
