The Eureka Loggers will carry some momentum into the second half of league play after posting an impressive and clutch road win in non-league volleyball on Friday night.
Playing at Healdsburg, the Loggers dropped the opening two sets to put themselves in a hole, but rebounded to win three straight, including a tight final set.
Eureka won 19-25, 23-25, 25-13, 25-23,15-13.
Aniah Gaither led the way in the victory, finishing with a team-high 11 kills and six blocks, while Mariah Napoleon added eight kills and four aces.
Josie Montana continued her recent good form at the service line, placing all 20 of her serves in the opposition court, including four aces.
Trinity Abercrombie also had an impact in the win, finishing with six kills and three aces.
The team returns to Big 5 action next week, hosting Fortuna on Thursday.
With the win they improved to 3-15.
