By Ray Hamill — After being unable to play a game for the past two weeks, the Hoopa Warriors will finally kick off the new football season this weekend.
The Warriors, who were originally scheduled to have a bye this week, have added Fort Bragg to the schedule.
The game will be played at St. Bernard’s on Saturday at 1 p.m. because of air quality concerns in the Hoopa Valley.
The Warriors JVs will also be in action, adding a game against the St. Bernard’s JVs on Saturday at 11 a.m.
The SB varsity has a scheduled bye this weekend.
Hoopa was forced to cancel its first two games because of COVID concerns and the air quality in the area.
