By Ray Hamill — Eureka High School has announced that this week’s JV football game against Foothill has been canceled.

Earlier in the week, the Loggers were forced to pull the plug on the varsity game against Foothill because of COVID protocols.

They had hoped to still play the JV game, but Foothill has managed to find a replacement for the varsity team and will bring the JVs along as well.

Both games had been scheduled for Friday night at Albee Stadium in Eureka.

The Loggers are now scheduled to kick off the new season at Windsor next week.
