Both Klamath Trinity and Arcata remained alive at the district 12-year-old Little League All-Star tournament in Fortuna on Sunday.
Klamath Trinity bounced back from a 15-0 defeat to McKinleyville on Saturday with a 9-4 win over Southern Humboldt, while Arcata got the better of Eel River.
Klamath Trinity and Arcata will now face off on Monday afternoon at 4:30 p.m. in another elimination game, with the winner moving on to Tuesday.
Monday also features a big showdown between two unbeaten teams, when McKinleyville (2-0) plays Redwood Empire (1-0) at 7 p.m.
The winner of that game will advance to the championship round and will be just one win from taking the district championship.
The six-team tournament runs through Wednesday at least.
