The accolades continue for Humboldt State softball standout Izzy Starr, who was named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-American Team, it was announced on Tuesday.
Starr becomes the 47th player from the HSU program to receive all-American recognition.
The sophomore standout led the Lumberjacks this spring with a .468 batting average and six home runs.
She also had three doubles and a triple, and she struck out just once in 47 at bats.
Last week, Starr was named to the All-West Region Team, after earlier being listed as one of 30 finalists for the Division-II player of the year.
Kalyn Paque was the last HSU player to be named All-American in softball, back in 2017.
