Chris Lawrence was a double winner at the Redwood Acres Raceway on Saturday night, winning both main events in the Legends division.
The second night of racing action this season was sponsored by Bear River Casino Resort and paid out $500 for each of two Legends featured events.
And that made it a good night for Lawrence.
After Brett Murrell set the fastest time in qualifying, Lawrence took the first main ahead of Steve Davis, Murrell, Gannon Cyphers and Tyler Krupa.
Krupa was second in the second main, with Davis, Murrell and Andrew Thornton rounding out the top five.
Three other divisions also saw action on Saturday, with Raquel Krupa leading the way in the Bombers division once again.
Raquel had to withstand a late-race charge from fastest qualifier Raymond Taylor, before holding on for the checkered flag.
It was the second straight main event win for Raquel, who also placed first at the season-opening event two weeks ago.
Jordan Krupa finished third followed by Ed Rasmussen and Tyler Krupa.
Qualifying for the Roadrunner division was paced by Bob Ratzlaff, while JR Brandt won the first heat race while Bryan Brandt took the second.
JR Brandt came through to win the main event over Steve Kimberling, Bob Ratzlaff, Jeremiah Martin and LeRoy Marsh, Jr.
In the Mini Stock division, Jordan Paiment set fast time in qualifying and followed that with a victory in the heat race, before making it a clean sweep for the night with a win in the main event.
Sam Brown, Colton Kinsey, James Nichols and Allison McCarty rounded out the top five.
Racing returns to Redwood Acres in three weeks.
All local divisions will be in action, including the late models, which had this past weekend off.
In addition, the North State Modified Series will be making its first of two visits to the local track.
