Fresno State Athletics – Hailey Dolcini

By Ray Hamill — Hailey Dolcini pitched a one-hitter for Fresno State over the weekend, as the former H-DNL star and the red-hot Bulldogs continued to roll.

Matching up against Saint Mary’s, Dolcini struck out 13 batters in six innings in a 6-0 win on Saturday.

It was the 10th time this season that Dolcini has struck out at least 10, and the eighth time in her last 11 outings.

For the season, the former Fortuna Husky has an ERA of 0.97 and remarkably she has walked just one batter in her last five outings (27 innings), while striking out 57 in that time.

The Bulldogs have now won 10 straight and are 27-7 on the season.

They remain just outside the USA Today/NFCA Coaches top-25.
