Hailey Dolcini’s incredible season for Fresno State is showing no signs of slowing down any.
In fact, if anything she appears to be growing stronger.
On Friday afternoon, the former Fortuna Husky pitched a third no-hitter of the season, this one against New Mexico, and was just one defensive error from throwing a second perfect game.
The Bulldogs, who have been red-hot lately, won the game 6-0 and are now 19-7 on the season.
Dolcini completely dominated the New Mexico batters, striking out 18 of the 22 she faced and walking none.
The senior ace now has double digits in strikeouts in six of her last seven appearances and has seen her ERA drop to 1.01.
She is 11-3 on the season.
Remarkably, the former Big 5 MVP has thrown three no-hitters in her last 11 starts, including a perfect game against Sac State in late February.
