By Ray Hamill — The Ferndale Wildcats handed the St. Bernard’s Crusaders a rare shutout on Friday, as H-DNL football returned to the North Coast.
The Cats had numerous big performers in the win, led by senior Lane Branstetter, who was outstanding on both sides of the ball.
Check out our game highlights above, including a pair of Ferndale interceptions and a first-ever varsity TD pass from senior Jenner Christiansen to younger brother Kannon.
In what was a hard-played, physical game, there were also plenty of big hits.
Look for the senior-heavy Wildcats to build off of this win, and look for a very young Crusaders team to learn from it.
