By Ray Hamill — Eureka’s Bobbie Purify and the William Jessup University women’s basketball team will return to the court for the first time in a month on Friday when they begin play at the NAIA Tournament.
And for local fans who want to follow the action, the game will be streamed live.
The Warriors take on Lewis-Clark State at 5 p.m., with the game being broadcast on the Lewis-Clark State athletics website, which can be accessed here.
The William Jessup women will be making just their second-ever appearance in the tournament and come into the game with a record of 10-8, while the Lewis-Clark State women are 12-5.
Purify has played a big role for the Warriors in her first season with the team, averaging 5.4 points a game and shooting 62 percent from the floor.
The 2016 Eureka High graduate also played two seasons at College of the Redwoods and transferred to William Jessup last year after one season with Notre Dame de Namur, which dropped all sports in 2020.
