Tuesday’s HSU men’s basketball game canceled for COVID reasons

Tuesday’s scheduled men’s basketball game between Humboldt State and Dominican University has been canceled after a member of the Dominican program reported possible symptoms of COVID-19.

The Lumberjacks are on a seven-game road trip, which began last weekend in the Bay Area.

According to a press release from HSU, no one from the Jacks’ team had contact with the Dominican team member and HSU continues to follow COVID testing protocols while on the road.

The Jacks remain eligible for competition and will return to the court this weekend, with two games at Fresno Pacific on Friday and Saturday.

The Jacks split a pair of games against the Academy of Art this past weekend, winning  the opener 89-87 in overtime before falling 93-89.
