Former Humboldt State standout Madeline Hatch has joined the ranks of the pros, signing a contract with Dobuss Cordoba Basket in Codoba, Spain.

Dobuss Cordoba Basketball is a member of the Liga Nacional 1.

“I am so happy to be signing with Dobuss Cordoba Basket,” Hatch said. “During this wild year of COVID, I have such an appreciation for life and being able to do the things I love. I am beyond grateful for this opportunity.

“Humboldt State University basketball gave me the experience and development that I needed to continue playing the game I love at the professional level.”

Hatch was a dangerous perimeter threat for the Jacks and is fifth all-time at the school in 3-point field goals with 148, including an impressive 58 during the 2018-19 season.

“This is exciting news and we are all thrilled for Maddy,” HSU head coach Michell Bento-Jackson said. “Maddy loves the game of basketball and we are very happy to see her live out her dreams. Her commitment, passion, and determination to basketball has gotten her to where she is and the Humboldt State community wishes her nothing but the very best as she embarks on her next journey.”
