Photo by Sherie Bialous – The North State Modifieds will be in action at the Redwood Acres Raceway on Saturday.

The Redwood Acres Raceway season will close out this weekend with the annual Fall Spectacular.

Raceway officials were hoping to reschedule the recently postponed September 12 event, but have been unable to do so.

And that means Saturday’s races will decide the season championships in all five divisions with several close races going into the final day.

Also on Saturday, the ever-exciting North State Modified Series will be in action, with McMurray And Sons sponsoring the day’s racing.

Once again because of COVID-19 restrictions no fans will be allowed in attendance with the action streamed live online on the raceway’s Facebook page.

Saturday’s event gets under way at 3 p.m., and a test and tune will also be held on Friday from 3 to 8 p.m.

Drivers that paid for the September 12 race and did not request a refund will be credited for this event. 

Further information regarding increased purses for the Bombers, Legends and Late Models will be released later this week.
