Louis Cosce capped a magical night for local MMA with a dominating victory over Victor Reyna at the Dana White Contender Series in Las Vegas on Tuesday.
Following his older brother Orion’s lead, Louis got the better of the experienced Reyna with a first-round TKO in their welterweight showdown.
Earlier in the evening, Orion also won at the prestigious event, handing Matt Dixon his first ever pro loss with a third-round TKO.
The victories earned the two brothers a UFC contract, Dana White announced afterwards.
Louis lived up to his nickname of “The Monster” with a TKO finish just one minute, 12 seconds into the opening round.
It was his seventh first-round finish in seven pro fights and as impressive as any, coming against an experienced opponent who was making his second appearance in the prestigious series.
Louis landed a big overhand left a little over a minute into the showdown and quickly ended the fight with a flurry of punches.
“Are you kidding me?” The commentator said in response to Louis’ devastating win.
Both brothers, who were underdogs in their respective fights, are now 7-0 in the pro ranks.
