By Ray Hamill — Orion and Louis Cosce both made weight on Monday morning, ahead of Tuesday night’s big fights at the Dana White Contender Series in Las Vegas.

The two local pro MMA fighters will square off against different opponents on the same card, with a potential UFC contract for the winners.

Both local fighters are 6-0 in the pro ranks and have dominated their opponents since making that jump a few years ago.

Louis, nicknamed “The Monster,” will fight in the main event of the five-fight card against the experienced Victor Reyna, who is 11-4 as a pro and will be making his second appearance in the prestigious series.

Both fighters made weight for the 170-pound fight.

Reyna is a southpaw who is two inches taller than Louis and has been described by trainer Brian Wilson as “rangier” and a “more seasoned fighter.”

“With that being said,” Wilson added, “we expect Louis to dominate the fight.”

Orion, nicknamed “Galaxy,” will fight the undefeated Matt Dixon (9-0), also at 170 pounds.

Both fighters also made weight on Monday and will face off in the third of the five fights.

“(Dixon) is an impressive guy, but with that being said we’re expecting the same thing from Orion as we expect from Louis, to dominate every minute of the fight and win every round,” Wilson said.

The fights will be broadcast live on ESPN Plus. Click here for more information on how to watch Tuesday’s big fights …
