The Humboldt Eagles closed out a six-game road trip in Oregon with a 7-4 loss to the River Dawgs in Grants Pass on Sunday night.
The Dawgs scored five runs in the bottom of the third inning to overturn a 4-1 deficit and take control of the game.
Six different Eagles players combined for seven hits in a balanced team effort, led by Rogan Bode, who was 2-for-2.
Older brother Hayden Bode also had an impact, finishing 1-for-3 with an RBI, while Caleb Ruiz was 1-for-4 with an RBI.
Corbin Eichin, Jaden Gorge and Cole Ayala each also had a hit.
CJ Van Meter pitched all six innings in the loss, allowing nine hits and two walks, while striking out six.
The Eagles finished their road trip 3-3 and are now 26-7 on the season.
