Former Fortuna pitcher Hailey Dolcini continues to dominate in the circle for Fresno State softball, earning Mountain West Conference Pitcher of the Week honors for the second straight week.
The junior has been in sensational form for the Bulldogs this season, and is now 10-1 with a save in 13 appearances, while posting an ERA of 1.51. She also has 77 strikeouts on the season.
One week after beating Texas, the No. 3 team in the nation, Dolcini was at it again over the weekend, going 3-0 with a save in four appearances (13 innings) at the Bulldog Classic.
She saved her best for last, striking out 14 batters against UC Davis to close out tournament play on Sunday, one shy of her career-high.
Dolcini limited opposing batters to a .167 batting average over the week.
This is the seventh time she has been named Mountain West Pitcher of the Week in less than two seasons at Fresno State.
