The Eureka Loggers got their first win of the season in baseball on Friday, winning 4-1 at San Marin.
Junior Hayden Bode got the win on the mound, allowing just one unearned run in five innings work.
Bode walked two batters and struck out three.
Parker Rodgers led the way at the plate finishing 2-for-3 and driving in three runs.
The Loggers, who lost to Ukiah and Santa Rosa at Ukiah last Saturday, are now 1-2 on the season.
Eureka plays at San Rafael on Saturday at noon.
