Humboldt State women seeded No. 7 for CCAA tournament

By Ray Hamill — The Humboldt State women’s basketball team will be seeded No. 7 for next week’s California Collegiate Athletic Association Tournament.

The Jacks finished conference play with a record of 11-11 and in a tie with Sonoma State for seventh in the standings.

They will open the postseason tournament at No. 2 UC San Diego, which tied Cal State San Marcos atop the conference standings with a record of 18-4.

San Marcos received the No. 1 seed and will open the CCAA tourney at home to No. 8 Sonoma State.

The four opening round games will be played on Tuesday night.
