By Ray Hamill — Local MMA pro fighter Cass Bell announced on Thursday that he will return to the cage on May 9.

Bell, who is under contract with Bellator, will fight at the SAP Center in San Jose, the site of four of his five pro wins.

Bell, who last fought in December at Bellator’s Salute to the Troops in Hawaii, is 5-0 as a pro.

No details have been released yet on who Bell will fight.

The former Arcata High wrestler fights out of the Institute of Combat in Arcata.
