The Corsairs dropped both ends of a softball doubleheader at San Jose on Saturday, losing 8-2 and 4-0.

College of the Redwoods got the day off to a positive start with two runs in the top of the first in game one, but that was the end of their scoring for the day.

Lindsey Scott pitched both losses, as the CR women closed out a disappointing two-day road trip 0-4 and are now 7-8 on the season.

Grace Rosebrook, Karyn Jensen and Jaycee Morais each had a base hit in the opener.

In game two, Amy Reyes and and Jensen each finished 2-for-3, with Morais, Samantha Caughie and Shawnau Johnson each adding a hit.

The Corsairs have a bye next week before their home opener against Mendocino the following week.
