Former Eureka standout Brady Munson got his first collegiate start on the mound for Shasta on  Tuesday, tossing three innings in a 7-0 loss to Yuba.

Munson, one of several former H-DNL players playing for the Knights this season, gave up three earned runs on four hits and a walk, as he  adjusts to life at the collegiate level.

The 2019 Eureka graduate has now appeared in five games for the 2-7 Shasta men and has an ERA of 4.26.

Fortuna’s Cody Emmons and Arcata’s Jaden Gorge have each also seen action in all nine games for the Knights, and are each batting .185 through the early season.
