By Ray Hamill — Former St. Bernard’s pitcher Garrison Finck got his first collegiate win on Tuesday, as Cal State East Bay defeated Holy Names 10-3 to go to 4-0.

Finck, a red-shirt freshman, was one of eight pitchers the Pioneers used in the game, tossing one inning for the victory in his second appearance out of the bullpen.

In two innings this season, the 2018 St. Bernard’s graduate has allowed one hit and two walks, while striking out two.

Also in the CCAA, former Fortuna and College of the Redwoods infielder Kokko Figueiredo is off to a flying start in his senior campaign at Cal State Monterey Bay.
