Both Humboldt State basketball teams dropped road games at UC San Diego on Thursday night, with the men falling 85-63 and the women losing 81-65.

Alexia Thrower had another big game for the HSU women, scoring 25 points, while Tyra Turner added 20.

With the loss, the Lumberjacks are now 7-8 in the CCAA and 11-9 overall.

The HSU men dropped to 3-12 and 7-13.

Both teams play at Cal State San Marcos on Saturday.
