The St. Bernard’s and Del Norte football teams are being honored on commemorative milk cartoons arriving this week, after each won a North Coast Section championship this past season.
The special Crystal Creamery milk cartons are being released ahead of this Sunday’s Super Bowl and feature the names and logos of all seven 2019 NCS football champions.
They will be available from Bakersfield to the Oregon border.
“Crystal Creamery is proud to recognize these football champions on our commemorative cartons for achieving the highest honor in their sport,” Crystal Creamery’s Senior Director of Sales Brian Carden said in a press release.
He added, “With these cartons, Crystal Creamery wants to provide a fun, lasting memory of a very special moment for each of the student athletes, their coaches and their families.”
In 2019, the Modesto-based and family-owned Crystal Creamery expanded its sponsorship of the CIF to include the Central and North Coast Sections in addition to the Sac-Joaquin Section which it has sponsored since 2012.
The NCS champions honored include De La Salle High School (Division I), Clayton Valley High School (Division II), Rancho Cotate High School (Division III), Cardinal Newman High School (Division IV), Del Norte High School (Division V), St. Bernard’s High School (Division VI) and Salesian High School (Division VII).
