By Ray Hamill — St. Bernard’s quarterback Will Omey and receiver Logan Petrusha made it look easy on the second of six St. Bernard’s touchdowns on Friday night.
The senior quarterback found his target open in the end zone for the score after he had easily pulled away from the coverage.
The Crusaders’ dynamic offense, which has accounted for 75 points in their opening two games, has multiple weapons, with Omey orchestrating things.
Despite that, Friday’s performance was sloppy at times with too many mental mistakes and penalties.
Head coach Matt Tomlin said he will be addressing the concerns at practice this week, ahead of a big showdown with Arcata on Saturday.
