By Ray Hamill — The Eureka Loggers lost another exciting game on Friday night, falling 17-14 to Windsor at Albee Stadium.

Offensively, the Loggers failed to ignite for much of the night with an early touchdown by Lamarie Dunn and a last-minute score by Trent Morrow the only real highlights in a tough loss.

Defensively, however, the Loggers stepped up when they had to, holding a dangerous Windsor offense to just two touchdowns and coming up with some big plays when they needed them the most.

Despite the loss, it was another highly entertaining game at Albee Stadium, where this year’s Loggers are proving to be the most exciting local team to watch through the early going.

The Loggers will play four of their next five games on the road beginning with a matchup at Foothill next Friday.
