St. Bernard’s girls can’t catch Marin Academy in tourney decider

The St. Bernard’s girls rallied multiple times late in Saturday’s Marin Academy Tournament championship game, but couldn’t catch the host team, falling 63-54.

Jasa Sisemore came up big for the Crusaders, finishing with 24 points, while teammate Emily Gardner added 11 points.

The Crusaders trailed by 10 and closed the gap to just two with 90 seconds remaining, but were unable to get any closer.

The St. Bernard’s girls closed out their first tournament of the season at 2-1.

The Crusaders will play Vanden HS at the Windsor Tournament on Thursday at 8 p.m.
