Lil Bombers offer Pro Day Baseball Showcase

HumboldtSports.com —The Lil Bombers Baseball Club in Eureka is offering local players the chance to see how they stack up against players from all around the country with a Pro-Day Baseball Showcase on Sunday Sept. 9.

The showcase, which takes place at Bomber Field across from the Redwood Acres, will test the players’ ability in eight different skill sets.

Players will receive an individual score card and also a national score card to show them how rank nationally within their age group.

The event is open to players aged 8-18 at a cost of $35.

The eight skills the players will be tested in include 60-yard dash, 10-yard shuttle, broad jump, grip strength, arm velocity MPH, ball exit speed MPH, pitching velocity MPH, and home to first base (hitting in the batters box).

The event serves as a fundraiser for the Lil Bombers, who are a 13U/14U local baseball travel team and a part of the Humboldt B52s program.

The showcase begins at noon, with same-day registration at 11 a.m.
