Local high school football fans and coaches got a first taste of live action at last weekend’s H-DNL jamboree.

Seven of the nine local programs traveled to McKinleyville High School for the preseason event, with varsity and JVs teams participating.

The annual jamboree came just one week before the new season, which kicks off this weekend.
