The Cal Poly Humboldt women’s rowing team will compete for a fourth national championship this weekend.
One of the most successful programs in Lumberjacks sports history will head to Lake Mercer in New Jersey for the 2025 NCAA Division II Rowing Championships.
The action gets under way on Friday with heats in both the Varsity 8+ and Varsity 4+ events, and the top crew in each heat will earn a direct berth to Saturday’s Grand Final, while the remaining boats will race again in the repechage round on Friday afternoon for a second shot at a championship lane. The Lumberjacks are seeking their first national championship since 2023, having also won NCAA titles in 2012, 2014.
