The St. Bernard’s Crusaders won their North Coast Section Division-5 baseball quarterfinal in thrilling fashion on Friday evening, edging Miramonte 2-1 in eight innings.

Junior Luke Brunton pitched all eight innings for the win on the mound, and also scored the winning run on a two-strike squeeze bunt by teammate Quentin Ikeya.
