Both of Tuesday’s Little 4 openers in baseball have been affected by the weather with changes announced for both games.

St. Bernard’s and South Fork were both scheduled to host Ferndale and Hoopa, respectively, to open conference play for all four schools.

However, one of the games has switched venue and time and the other has been pushed back at least 24 hours.

The Crusaders and Wildcats will still face off on Tuesday, but the game has been moved from St. Bernard’s to the all-weather field at the Bear River Sports Complex.

The game has also been pushed back from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The second of Tuesday’s scheduled games has been postponed.

The two schools are hoping to play on Wednesday before a second conference game between them on Thursday.

If they are unable to play on Wednesday, then the two games will likely be played on Thursday and Friday.

The Crusaders and Wildcats are also scheduled to play a single game on Thursday at Ferndale.

The Big 5 teams are scheduled to open conference play this weekend, with a pair of doubleheaders on Saturday.

The Del Norte boys travel to Arcata to play the Tigers and the Eureka Loggers open at Fortuna.
