By Ray Hamill — The College of the Redwoods men’s playoff basketball game will be streamed live on Wednesday night.

After winning a fourth Golden Valley Conference title in five season, the Corsairs will host their opening round contest against Alameda.

The CR men are seeded No. 9 seed in the 24-team NorCal bracket and will open against No. 24 Alameda.

Game time is set for 7 p.m. and the showdown will be streamed live through the CR Athletics YouTube page.

The CR women also have qualified for the playoffs and will open at Santa Rosa.

That game will also take place at 7 p.m. on Wednesday night.

No official word yet on whether that game will be streamed live, but it is likely it will be available through the Santa Rosa JC Athletics youTube page.

The winner of both games will advance to play at San Jose on Saturday.
