Cal Poly Humboldt’s Aidan Fowler has been selected as the FloCollege/CCAA Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for the week of Nov. 18-24.
Fowler posted a career-high 24 points last Tuesday to help Humboldt improve to 3-1 on the season in a 87-70 win over Western Oregon.
The freshman guard went 8-of-11 from the field (72.7 percent), including 5-of-7 on 3-pointers (71.4 percent).
He added three rebounds and three assists.
The San Clemente native ranks 19th in the CCAA with 12.3 points per game and is tied for 10th with 1.8 3-pointers per game.
Fowler is the first freshman to win CCAA Player of the Week honors since his teammate Cam Timmons in 2022.
The Lumberjacks will open CCAA play on Saturday, when they host Chico State.
Tip off is set for 5 p.m.
