By Ray Hamill — Saturday night’s College of the Redwoods basketball playoff game will be streamed live.

The Corsairs won their playoff opener at Merced College on Wednesday night, 85-81, and will try to make it two straight road wins against higher seeds when they travel to take on Chabot College on Saturday.

Game time is set for 7 p.m.

The game will be streamed live on Youtube and can be accessed here.

The CR men have been on fire recent, with seven wins in their last eight games, including four straight.

CR is now 18-11, while Chabot, which had an opening round bye in the playoffs, is 21-7.

The Corsairs are seeded No. 22 in the 24-team NorCal bracket, which Chabot is No. 6.

A win for the Corsairs on Saturday night would leave them one victory from qualifying for the Elite Eight state tournament.

The winner of Saturday’s game will advance to play either Santa Rosa or College of the Sequoias.

In local college baseball, meanwhile, the Corsairs’ three-game series at Lassen scheduled for this weekend has been postponed due to the weather.

No make-up dates have yet been finalized.
