A pair of former Eureka Loggers have been crowned national champions in cheerleading while competing for Lindenwood University out of Missouri.
Connor Brogan, a 2019 Eureka High graduate, and KyleeAnna Zink-Clinton, who graduated two years ago, were a part of two different Lions teams that won Division-II national championships at the NCA/NDA Collegiate Cheer and Dance Team Championships in Daytona Beach on Saturday.
Brogan was part of the Lindenwood Advanced Large Coed team, while Zink-Clinton competed on the Intermediate Small Coed squad.
Both were four-year cheerleaders at Eureka High, before joining the powerhouse Lindenwood program to continue their careers.
Lindenwood, had six cheer teams competing at the national tournament and has now won 13 national crowns in program history.
Lindenwood is a private university in St. Charles, Missouri.
