With the 2023 Redwood Acres Raceway season just around the corner, a test and tune day will take place this weekend.
The new season begins later in the month on April 29 with the much-anticipated Rhododendron 100 for the late models and opening night will feature all five local divisions.
And drivers can use Saturday’s annual pre-season test and tune to prepare for the season.
The pit gates will open at 10 a.m. with practice taking place from noon to 5 p.m.
The cost is $15.

The winner of the 100-lap Rhododendron 100 feature event on opening night will earn $3,000.
Other highlight events on this year’s schedule include the Gunslinger Sprint Cars on May 12 and May 13, the Firecracker 100 on July 8, the Legends Of The Redwoods Shootout on July 29 and the annual season ending Fall Spectacular on September 23.
The North State and Upstate Modifieds and well as the Upstate Bombers will also be racing at the 3/8-mile track this season.
