The Hoopa Warriors capped two dominating days at the Spring Break Invitational tournament in Medford with two more wins on Tuesday and closed out tourney play 4-0.
The Warriors, who won their bracket, defeated Taft 11-4 in their first game on Tuesday and followed that with a 9-0 win over Mazama later in the day.
In four tournament games, the red-hot Hoopa girls outscored their opponents 42-10, including two shutouts.
And they did it with contributions from throughout their lineup, with 10 different players hitting successfully.
Senior Tatianna Colegrove had an outstanding tournament and got the win in the circle in all four games.
Colegrove struck out eight and walked six in game one on Tuesday and added 13 Ks and three walks in game two.
For the tournament, she struck out 46 batters.
She was just as impressive at the plate and went 4-for-4 with four doubles in game one on Tuesday, before adding an inside-the-park home run later in the day, her third homer in six games.
Nae-Rew Martin also had a big tournament and was 4-for-7 with a triple and a double over the two games on Tuesday.
Bella Valentine added four hits, going 4-for-7 over the two wins, while Nalani Colegrove and Diamond Bibancos each was 2-for-4 in game one, including a triple by Nalani Colegrove and a double by Bibancos.
Millenia McKinley also had a double in the opener, with Jewely Bibancos, Renee Doolittle and Maizey Maloney rounding out a 15-hit team performance.
Jewely added a double against Mazama, with additional base hits by Maloney and Rianna Bain.
The Warriors, who have now won six straight games, improved to 6-2 on the season.
They are scheduled to open league play with a doubleheader at St. Bernard’s on Saturday.
